Ein 96 Minuten langer Dokumentarfilm, für den ich gemeinsam mit Regisseur & Produzent René Gebhardt das Plakat konzeptioniert habe. Die Titelillustration setzt auf die Transzendenz der Aquarellfarbe, die fließt, flexibel geht, unfassbar ist und auf die harte, umrissene Präsenz des Bambusfeder Tuschestriches.
Der Film feierte seine Weltpremiere auf dem Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival 2018 und war weltweit bei weiteren renommierten Festivals zu sehen (u.a. HotDOCS in Kanada, Hollandfestival).
Georg Friedrich Haas is arguably the most important living composer of symphonic music, but also a descendant of a Nazi family. His wife, whom he met through the dating site “OkCupid”, is an African-American kink educator. Their deep relationship is based on an open, yet controversial role-playing game between a white male master and a black female slave. This ground-breaking film documents their lives between perversion, art, love, and radical self-determination. His wife Mollena is a renowned American kink educator and descendant of African slaves. Together they live in a public kinky relationship they have craved for 40 years: She is his ’slave‘ & muse, he is her master – a combination that pushes many people’s buttons & touches on matters of race, sexuality, politics & power relations. This film documents their lives between perversion, art, love & radical self-determination.
